Who we are

Clefs is guest service software for hotels, made by NexImpulse Tech & Innovation Private Limited, a company registered in India (CIN U62099WB2025PTC285199) with its registered office in Kolkata, West Bengal. We decide how your details are used. To reach us about your details, write to nikhil@clefs.world or reply to any email from us.

What we collect about hotel contacts

  • Business names, business email addresses and phone numbers that hotels publish on their own websites, or that appear in OpenStreetMap.
  • If we contact you on LinkedIn, the name, role and hotel your public profile shows.
  • The name, role and work email address of a hotel's owner or manager, from business contact directories such as Apollo.io. Our first email to you says where we found your address.
  • Anything you send us, such as a reply to our email.

Why we use it

To offer Clefs to hotels. In the UK and Ireland, we rely on legitimate interests: telling a business about a service that is relevant to it. In Australia, we only email addresses that a hotel publishes itself.

Where it is kept

In our email, which is Google Gmail, and in our own working files. We never sell it, and we never use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Until you opt out, or 12 months after our last contact with you if you never reply. If you opt out, we keep only what we need to make sure we do not contact you again.

Your choices

  • Reply "no" or "unsubscribe" to any email from us, and we stop.
  • Reply to any email from us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
  • You can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the ICO in the UK, the Data Protection Commission in Ireland or the OAIC in Australia.

Visitors to this website

Our marketing pages use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use them, such as clicks and scrolls. It never runs on guest pages, in the staff console or on staff devices.

Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast our pages load.

If you book a demo, the booking is handled by Calendly. Forms on this site say at the form what they collect and why.

Hotel guests

If you are a guest at a hotel that uses Clefs, the hotel decides how your data is used. Read your hotel's privacy notice, which its Clefs pages link to, or ask the hotel through the privacy request form. How Clefs protects hotel and guest data is on the security page.
